About Us

Our History

At Tusculum Ventures, our focus is primarily script development both for radio and the visual media, predominantly film. We have several original film scripts currently under development and additionally,  we can provide freelance journalistic support for trade press, magazines / publications and film festivals. 


Tusculum Ventures was established by Sarah Baxter in January 2023, a lawyer by background, she has had a passion for film since an early age. She has been pro-actively involved the film industry since 2016 studying film courses at Edinburgh University and spending several years on the Board of The Edinburgh International Film Festival, she is also an Associate Member of BAFTA and has been involved in the judging of both the LA based BAFTA Student Awards and the BAFTA Scotland Awards.  Additionally, since 2020 she has undertaken projects writing creative copy for a variety of clients including brands, media companies, agencies and individuals.
